Cool Calvin Comes to Life: The Ultimate Publishing Experience
Featuring No Bandanas for Me is a presentation highlighting all of the necessary steps needed to finish a published children's book. Students will see how Cool Calvin came to life during this hour-long presentation. They will also learn great skills in conflict resolution and gang resistance while at the same time be shown the necessary steps involved in putting together published works.
Students will learn the communication needed between the illustrator and author to successfully complete a published children's book. They will see Cool Calvin transform from a black and white sketch to a lively full color children's book character. Students will never look at another book the same way again.
